Adventure Trail and Dog Park

We are so excited to announce the newest addition we’ve been working on, here at Broadmore Pet Retreat. A private, wooded ADVENTURE TRAIL and OFF-LEASH DOG PARK located on our 10 acres in Shawnee, Kansas.

Make a reservation, and come enjoy our private ¼ mile graveled walking trail, winding through the woods. The terrain can be hilly, and will require some degree of effort in order to get to the Dog Park. Benches/seats have been placed on the path for your rest/enjoyment. While on the trail, your dog(s) must remain on leash the entire time. At the end of the trail you will see an entry gate to the fully fenced-in Off-Leash Dog Park. Once inside the gate, secure the latch and you may remove your dog(s) leash. The park is approximately 60 feet wide and 200 feet long.

Feel free to bring toys, balls, frisbees, and treats for your pet(s). Remember to pack water (and bowls) for you and your furry family member(s). Bring a blanket, or use our covered picnic table to enjoy a picnic lunch or dinner during your session.

Remember that your reservation is for a specific period. Please make sure to leave the Dog Park with enough time to make it back to your car. This will ensure the next client can start their reservation at their allotted time, and that there aren’t any issues crossing paths on the trail.

Join our exclusive Adventure Trail and Off-Leash Dog Park by completing the following:

1. Complete our Enrollment Form.
2. Complete and sign our Hold Harmless Agreement.
   This can also be signed, scanned and sent to [email protected] or faxed to 913-441-5309.
3. Fax or email all vaccination and health records for dog(s) joining. We will only take dog(s) who are up to date with our vaccination and medical requirements.
   1. Bordetella Vaccine within 6 months of schedule visit.
   2. Distemper and Rabies Vaccines up to date with your Veterinarian.
   3. Negative fecal within the last year of your scheduled visit.

The dog park is Reservation Only, with only one ‘family’ allowed on the premises at any time. Multiple dogs within that family however are welcome, at the same time. Once you reserve your time slot online, you will receive a confirmation stating your requested date and time is secured.

Pricing for the Trail and Dog Park

Daily Rate for One Family ◆ 1 hour – $6 ◆ 2 hours – $10

Monthly Rate: Unlimited time slots within the month, in 1 or 2 hour increments ◆ $30/Month

Annual Rate: Unlimited time slots within the year in 1 or 2 hour increments ◆ $250/Year
